V-3 Plus Triple Action Cream is a combination of three medicines: Ketoconazole , Fluocinolone and Gentamicin. Ketoconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Gentamicin antibiotic which stops bacterial growth on skin. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively. Fluocinolone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

Ketoconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete‚s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs.

Gentamicin is used to treat minor skin infections (such as impetigo, folliculitis) or minor infections related to some skin conditions (such as eczema, psoriasis, minor burns/cuts/wounds). Gentamicin works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria.

Fluocinolone topical is used to relieve redness, itching, swelling, or other discomfort caused by skin conditions.
